Foto Finish - Funny

I know I've shown you this picture before, but it's a favorite of mine and I'm a bit distracted this morning.

I found Brady Bug sleeping like this and luckily had my camera close. This picture always makes me smile.

Quick update on me since I've been absent for a while. I had a birthday and a fun visit from my daughter then David and I went up to Ft. Lauderdale to visit with her, she just moved into a new place and she wanted us to see it. Then we've a had other little things going on like a broken A.C., not fun.

This morning we woke up to find out that we are under a hurricane watch, it was only supposed to be a tropical storm, which means we have a lot to do and I'm doing it all with a German Shepherd glued to my side, Maya is terrified, our weather has already gotten horrible, Brady is oblivious. I need to go out and take care of a few errands before everything closes. So, drinking coffee, making lists and reading a few blogs is my attempt at "normal" before we hunker down. We will probably lose the internet soon, so if you don't hear back from me, no worries.

I hope you'll visit Cat Patches and see the other funny pictures, these should be good.

Thanks for stopping by,

  1. Oh gosh. I love your image, and I don't recall seeing it before. Buckle up in that storm. Watch for flying limes. Take good care, my friend.

  2. Thought of you last night when I heard they had changed the forecast. You have been thru this stock up quick and bring in the loose stuff outside, etc. My brother is in Naples....he is dreading the next few days. Take care, and check back in when all is clear. As for me...I'll just watch the old movie...Key Largo.

  3. Take care Dana! Hope you have a hand crank or treadle machine so you can quilt while the storm blows on by.

  4. Be safe Dana.

  5. Yuckie! You have a storm worrier too hu? Tiny is my girl that hates storms, though she would rather hide than be by my side. Her current favorite hiding place is in the bathroom cabinet under the sink, and before you ask, of course she can open the cabinet to let herself in! On non-stormy days she likes to trap brother in there by opening it for him and then watching the door shut...

  6. Oh! That is an hysterical photo! Thanks for sharing with us.
On the other hand, batten down the hatches & stay safe!

  7. Love the photo! Take care, hope it's not nearly as bad as they thought it would be.

  8. I'm finally getting on the computer after a weekend of taking down tents before Isaac blows by the bay area. I hope you and yours are safe as the storm passes your area. I love the picture!!

  9. I don't know how I missed this post, perhaps because I have not been a good blogger and watched my updates?!! anyways, I LOVE that picture of your dog!!! I can relate!!! especially daily when I am vacuuming my sofa's :)
