I've always said that "normal" is an urban legend and my first day back to "normal" proves it. I walked in the morning with my walking partner, we walked, we laughed and we cried, a few times we had to stop because we couldn't breath, it was wonderful and ridiculous.
Shower and on to errands except when I started out I had a flat tire, O.K "the universe has spoken", it's a good day to sew. Two stitches and the machine ate the fabric, turned itself off for safety and after cleaning, new needle, new bobbin and rethreading it comes back on with an E1 error which means take it to someone qualified. Two hours each way, eight hours total since I have to drop it off and I'm not doing that, I ordered the fuses, which I'm pretty sure is the problem and I'll figure it out myself, the worst that can happen is I need a new machine :). Which led to internet research for a new machine which somehow led to me ordering a new mattress which is being made for me. LOL. David's answer to all this is "whatever you need", what a sweety or enabler.
Yesterday though the universe was very kind. This is Wolfy
he was due to be put down at 3:30 and the rescue stepped in at 3:28, they had found a foster for him. This is Wolfy's freedom ride picture, I had nothing to do with this rescue except jump into the car and cuddle this amazing dog. Cori, my daughter, had been asked to transport him to the Keys, she lives in the land of sewing machine repairs two hours away, so she brought him down and I got to spend the day with her. Wolfy and I both had a wonderful day.
